This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes uses of the TradeSchool Manager Software and the tradeschoolmanager.com website that are not permitted. It supplements the Terms of Service. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your subscription with no refund.
You may not
- Use the Software to store, transmit, or process content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, harassing, deceptive, or harmful to others.
- Use the Software to administer programs that violate applicable education, consumer-finance, immigration, or anti-discrimination laws.
- Falsify grades, attendance, transcripts, certificates, or any other record generated by the Software for the purpose of defrauding a student, regulator, accreditor, employer, lender, or government agency.
- Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute paid add-on plugins or license keys to parties outside the entity that purchased the subscription.
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with the licensing, update, telemetry, or security mechanisms in the Software.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any minified, obfuscated, or encrypted portion of the Software, except as expressly permitted by GPL or by law.
- Use the Software or this website to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) to students, parents, or any other recipients.
- Upload to the Software malware, keyloggers, ransomware, or other code that is designed to damage, intercept, or expropriate data.
- Use the Software or this website in any way that disrupts our infrastructure or that of our processors (Freemius, Stripe, Brevo, hosting providers).
- Engage in automated scraping or denial-of-service activity against tradeschoolmanager.com.
- Misrepresent your relationship with CJs Web Service, including by claiming to be a partner, reseller, or certified implementer where no written agreement exists.
Reporting abuse
If you believe a customer is using the Software in violation of this AUP — for example, to defraud students or to deliver education in violation of state law — please report it to [email protected]. We investigate credible reports and cooperate with law-enforcement requests that are properly served.
Enforcement
We may, in our sole discretion, suspend the offending subscription, terminate the license, refuse refunds, and report the conduct to appropriate authorities. We have no obligation to monitor customer installations and we generally cannot see what is stored inside them; enforcement is reactive and based on reports, observable third-party-system signals, or law-enforcement notices.

CJs Web Service, LLC. Schools are responsible for
verifying that their use of the software complies with FERPA, state
private career-school laws, COPPA, and any other regulation that applies
to their operations. Consult qualified counsel for advice specific to
